Animal Health Certificates

Our Official Veterinary Surgeon (OV), Dr. Moanamisi Motaung MVB CertGP(SAS) MRCVS, is able to issue Animal Health Certificates for foreign travel.

If you are planning to travel abroad with your pet, we recommend booking an appointment with our OV to discuss the current requirements for travel well in advance of your planned travel date.

An Animal Health Certificate (AHC) is required for any pet travelling from the UK to the EU. This document confirms that your pet is microchipped, vaccinated against rabies and fit for travel. An AHC must be issued within 10 days of your date of travelling.
